Le Chaînon
Since 1932, Le Chaînon's mission has been to help and shelter women in difficulty, in a situation of homelessness or at high risk of homelessness, victims of domestic violence and seeking refuge. We offer them an unconditional and non-judgmental welcome in a living environment that is as safe as it is warm. Our team guides and accompanies 115 residents every day and responds to more than 14,000 calls and referrals from women throughout Quebec. Each year, more than 600 different women are welcomed in our housing units and the length of stay varies according to their needs, ranging from a few weeks to several years. Le Chaînon's mission is to ensure that the women who use our services regain their self-esteem and regain control of their lives. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
