Our client, Pratt & Whitney, is looking for a Financial Analyst.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, The Financial Analyst will support the aftermarket business more specifically the engine maintenance contracts department and will manage the financial aspects of maintenance contracts. The candidate will also act as a Business partner for the sales team by supporting the approval of new contracts and their renewals.
- Recognized accounting title (CPA)
- 4 to 5 years of experience as a business unit accountant in a large or medium-sized company
- Written and oral bilingualism

Brief Description
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, The Financial Analyst will support the aftermarket business more specifically the engine maintenance contracts department and will manage the financial aspects of maintenance contracts. The candidate will also act as a Business partner for the sales team by supporting the approval of new contracts and their renewals.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Evaluate Contract profitability including margin growth initiatives
- Responsible for ensuring that contracts are executed properly, according to revenue recognition
- Validate monthly reconciliations, including month-end process
- Participate in the budgeting process
- Support customer manager with all financial matters related to contracts
- Communicate and collaborate with the overseas support team
Required Qualifications
Training
- Hold a recognized accounting title (CPA)
Professional Experience
- At least 4 to 5 years of experience as a business unit accountant in a large or medium-sized company
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of SAP, and/or Microsoft Dynamics (an asset)
- Written and oral bilingualism
