Brief Description
Reporting to the CEO and in collaboration with the Executive Committee, the Director of Operations oversees three (3) divisions of Premier Health of America located in the northern crown.
The Director of Operations will ensure that a high level of service excellence is maintained and actively contributes to the growth of the company.
This key role will identify opportunities for improvement and implement the tools to achieve them. This person will have to mobilize and develop their team to enable them to grow and participate in the development of market share.
The Director of Operations will be responsible for coordinating all management activities to achieve the company’s growth and profitability objectives by sector. To do so, they will work in close collaboration with the HR, Sales & Marketing, IT, and Call Center team leaders.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Participate in the execution of the company’s major orientations.
- Develop the action plan for the three divisions in line with the company’s strategic plan.
- Supervise and work in close collaboration with the key players in the various departments of the three divisions, namely Human Resources, IT, the Call Center, and Sales and Marketing, to ensure that the required resources are allocated and that the objectives are met.
- Participate in the development and administration of the annual budget, objectives, and KPIs for all three divisions.
- Manage and supervise the staff of their team under company policies (performance management, work schedule, meetings, etc.).
- Oversee and participate in the implementation of training plans for his team to ensure the development of talent potential and optimize team and company synergies.
- Proposes and implements process improvement strategies to increase productivity, and well-being at work and ensure the high level of performance of the services offered.
- Participate in the Executive Committee meetings and interact regularly with the CEO to ensure updates on activities or projects underway in his department.
Required Qualifications
Training
- University degree in business administration, management, or another relevant field
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in service companies
- Experience in staffing, travel, healthcare, business call centers, or other high-activity companies (an asset)
- Experience in managing operations in a growth environment
- Good knowledge of labor standards and accounting notions
Skills
- High level of comfort with technologies (ease of understanding different platforms and using them well)
- Implementation and monitoring of KPIs
- Bilingualism in French and English, both oral and written
