THE COMPANY

Our client, a fast-growing technology company, is a leading international company in the field is currently looking for a
Chief Accountant to join its team.This person will be responsible for the accounting function of the organization’s
businesses. He or she will have at his or her charges an accounting technician.

THE STRATEGIC ROLE: CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

The Chief Accountant will provide advice on any improvements to increase the profitability of the different
departments, the achievement of the company’s strategic objectives and the effectiveness of control financial
systems. He/she will also be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and auditing activities related to the
delivery in the preparation of financial, fiscal or other reports, budgets, statistics financial and operating data.

Reporting to the CFO, the Chief Accountant will be responsible for :

• Maintain multi-currency cash management;
• Maintain multi-currency cash management; Ensure the follow-up of accounts receivable and invoicing;
• Support and advise the CFO on general issues such as finance, budget, treasury and special projects;
• Maintain the relationship with financial institutions and the Executive Committee, including oral presentations
  and written financial information;
• Participate in the implementation of funding and financial assistance projects;
• Preparing grant applications
• Develop, implement and ensure the monitoring of business processes and various management policies,
  and of the company’s internal control system;
• Prepare monthly financial statements and explain budget variances;
• Produce the various internal and external financial reports (e.g., royalty report);
• Prepare the year-end file;
• Participated in the preparation of annual financial budgets;
• Evaluate the contribution margin of products/projects;
• Coordinate the production of the various tax reports, including SR&ED, TMP credits and establish the tax
  strategy in collaboration with external consultants;
• Develop decision-support tools and systems for financial simulations and indicators of performance to
  measure the performance of different projects and products;
• Participate in special projects;
• Carry out strategic intelligence in areas related to its field of expertise.

Qualifications

• Possession of a recognized accounting designation (CPA)
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position
• Complete accounting cycle

Assets

• Experience in a technology company, gaming industry
• Experience in team management (1)

Knowledge requirements

• Excellent knowledge of information systems and IT tools (Excel, ERP)
• Excellent knowledge of business case tools in a project management context
• Proficiency in both official languages, oral and written

Aptitudes

• Excellent rigor with strategic vision and business acumen
• Ability to manage several files at the same time with efficiency, great autonomy and excellent sense of organization
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• High level of energy and ability to deal quickly with unexpected events and changes
