ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client, a leader in the investment industry located in Montreal, is looking for an Accounting Director to join its team of professionals. The well-established company has experienced steady growth over the past few years and plans to keep these opportunities as high.

THE STRATEGIC ROLE: Accounting Director
The Accounting Director will have among other responsibilities:
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements of portfolio investments whether they are newly acquired or already operational
- Development of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly monitoring thereof
- Calculations of relevant financial ratios and prepare the documentation required by lenders of portfolio investments
- Calculations and preparation of investment distributions
- Development of working documents for the preparation of tax returns, as well as the review of returns
- Cash management of investments
- Preparation of files for the annual audit of portfolio investments
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Accounting
- Possess a recognized accounting designation (CPA)
- A minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in accounting
- Excellent command of the Office Suite
- Bilingualism both orally and in writing
